I just purchased a Neverfull GM in the Damier Ebene and I LOVE IT. I had purchased the same bag in Mono earlier this spring and ended up returning it. As @hatbox previously said, and to which I most certainly agree, the Damier prints are more sophisticated and a sort of understated elegance, while the Mono prints are iconically flashy. I have several accessories that are in Mono, Damier Ebene, and Vernis, and they all match very nicely with my Neverfull. But in the end, it comes down to what you would be most happy with. Good luck!
