Yes, the PM is a handheld, although I have seen it being carried over the shoulder. Just think Bellevue PM, similar in size. MM is bigger, more comfortable carried over the shoulder. i got a mono small agenda when i graduated uni as a gift from my grandparents. LOVE IT. my mom has the same one. i used it for like 5 yrs daily until i got my bb and have been using the calendar in that. i also got cheaper refills from daytimer.my mom has a pochette and so does my sis. (i get mine when i turn 30 in Nov!)my mom uses the pochette quite often for going out but sis has had it for like a yr + and hasnt used it once.all this to say if u use agendas, u will get more use out of that then the pochette.
