^I have a black work for almost a year now and it has kept up pretty nicely. For a couple of months, I used it every day for school and occasionally, a doctor's bag. I would carry a laptop, charger, notepad, stethoscope, BP cuff, and ophth/otoscop kit. All of that probably weighs ~10-12lbs?? My bag hasn't been stretched out or ruined or anything. The bag is quite large, I'm 5'10", a guy, and it's proportional on me. I would say there is slight fading of the color (it looks a little bit green under really bright lights), but I actually like that look. The corners are also still perfect though. I do keep it constantly moisturized and it definitely takes more maintenance--I'm scared the leather will get too dry.I would say go for the balenciaga. I was getting bored with LV so I decided to move on to other brands. I haven't bought a LV bag for almost 2 years now...Personally, I have gotten more complements when I use my balenciaga then when I use my LVs. I'm looking to get another balenciaga just as soon as they make another masculine color other than black and anthracite...Good luck with your decision, but I KNOW you will love a balenciaga as soon as you lay your hands on one.
