U guys discussing the strap made me take out my bb to try it on because I cant remember where it sits when it's crossbody.. I'm also 5'3 and it sits right around my hip/butt area.. and as a shoulder strap it hangs below my butt.. I want to say it's probably all the same for all but I got my RF at the last release.. as for the date code, it's hard to see but it's in the flap side of the inner pocket.. if you lift the flap out you'll see it on the left hand side..Oh and congrats on your new BB!! It's one of my fave purse even though I don't find many opportunities to use it! luv my shoes

I agree save the LV for yourself and get a less expensive baby bag. I found a cute kate spade one a couple of years ago for $100 or so. I'm pretty sure the Kate Spade outlet at Leesburg has them in stock. You could call and inquire. The bag is functional, holds a lot and comes with a changing pad.
